I can’t believe that the world/postal service actually operated at one time with this amazing and innocent metered stamp art. 
They are awesome to say the least, and in many cases hilarious. I found one Ad that states “August is Sandwich Time” and another that says “Have You Seen Color TV?” Thanks to Hi + Lo I dicovered The Meter Stamp Society.
