post No.123 West Palm Beach

I have been in Florida for a few days and will be here for the rest of the week visiting my grandmother.

I was surprised to wake up and find that the Design Sponge city guide this week was on West Palm Beach – which is where I am staying.

What are the odds?!

I love fancy little numbers.

I delight in spotting unique house numbers, vintage playing cards and old postage stamps with detailed little digits. We just got these amazing Lucia soaps in at urbanic and a big part of my packaging love for them are those numbers!

With equal admiration are these little tea cups I found at Anthropology. Perfectly proper and modernly unexpected.

I want the whole collection.

Eclectic: Deriving ideas, style or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources.
I like this word and especially the definition because it makes me feel like the possibilities are endless and non-conformed. Lately I have been feeling brave about mixing prints and patterns in small spaces and it has been really fun.  Below [...]

Just snatched this vintage 60’s danish modern screen from Etsy or the Urbanic bridal lounge. It just arrived and makes a huge difference in the back room. I will be posting pictures of it soon.

Every year, right about now, Joshua says to me “…so what do you want to do for valentines?”  I always answer him the same way and say ” I am not sure if I have a valentine yet”.  He knows the deal. It is a tradition I reserve and look forward to every year.  Even [...]

Over the weekend for First Friday we hosted our “Saturday Morning” party. These Mor emporium soaps are some of my favorites luxuries of all times. They smell amazing. Literally whenever they come in and we are taking them out of the box people say “What smells so good in here ?”. On top of that, there is the unbelievable packaging which speaks for itself. Some of my favorites include the Italian Blood Orange, Cucumber and Casabe (not pictured) and Kale and Watercress (also not pictured).
mor-soaps The latest news is, that in addition to these little sud beauties we just got in the “lip delight collection”. I am totally feeling these Bolllywood colors and they so fun to have around for Valentines Day.
