This month is the first birthday of Parcel Post! I was thinking for presents it would be fun to give a few little things out to you, since you all are a big part of what keeps me going. Happy Friday to you all!
Today’s Friday at the shop snapshots are of our “wedding door” in the bridal lounge. We converted and old door into a wedding invitation display and I have to say I love the crystal door knob as much as I love our invitation selection! The picture below it is of a gift wrap job JL did for a customer going to a baby shower. (she is standing proudly behind her masterpiece)

As many of you already know I am a big fan of Darling Clementine. Having it in the shop always makes me feel internationally cheerful and “boutiquey” in its finest translation. This morning I woke up to a delightful email from them letting me know about this brand new collection …. A celebration of Paris!
I originally was going to just post a few of my favorite styles but then realized that they are all my favorites and it was way too hard to choose!

This year for Easter our friends Emily and Jay invited us over to join them and some friends to their house for brunch.
I knew it would be good because they are amazing at everything that they do, but this was unbelievable.

Brown Paper Packages tied up with string….
At 8.am this morning we had to do a Staples run to to get printer paper for the store. Joshua found me in the folder aisle, handed me this kraft squared notebook and said “Look!” At that moment my eyes popped open for the day. It was the last one in stock, damaged in the corner but it was mine! This was a great start to the day.
I then arrived at the store to find 2 fun packages on my desk. Package #1 was from Simple Song. She sent some adorable samples from her line that I can’t wait to get in at the shop. Package #2 was a kraft envelope full of colorful samples from Smock. At this point it was only 9:30 am and I was on design stimulation overload and ironically all of it all came in kraft packaging! Iinspired by the theme I looked around and snapped a few more pics of my favorite things.

I recently discovered these awesome paper collages and was completely taken back. I got lost in the experience because each one is a little paradise wonderland of paper.
Anyway, snapping out of my daydream, I realized they are actually wallets made by Poketo. This particular series was designed by Chris Bettig, a newly favorite local L.A. artist of mine. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that they are wallets, since I am pining after them as wall art, but as you can see below they have this all figured out.

A Spring Wreath
I first spotted this gem here and contacted the designers Dana and Carol right away. It is so cheerful and made from all kinds of paper- vintage and new.
The Cupcake Kit !!!
When we got these kits in at Urbanic from chronicle books – I think I stared speechless into bliss for a good full minute. The kits are full of recipes, liners and decorating tools.

The wonderful woman who helps us with our son a few days a week went on vacation, so for the last 8 days we have spent endless hours together doing all kinds of fun things.
