post No.212 Fall-ish Neutrals

I am still operating on East Coast time around here, so I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning. When I went outside, I thought I smelled a little bit of fall in the air. It may have been wishful thinking, but either way I got all inspired and threw together this post to landmark my pre-fall excitement!

post No.211 Rice Paper Votive Holders

I just got back into town, and definitely have my work ahead of me to get caught up this week. On the bright side, we found so many treasures at the NYIGF! I can’t wait to give you daily updates as the shipments arrive. For today, I wanted to highlight these rice paper votive holders found here. For any of you that have been in our shop, you know that brown and white are my colors of choice, so finding these was a total score for me.

post No.208 Friday at the Shop

My favorite shot from around the store this week is this one I took of my little guy playing in the back yard of the shop yesterday. Together we picked out a display unit from the store and put some flowers on it and a bunch of little rocks and pretended to make a birthday cake. We then marched into the store singing happy birthday to everyone with our rock cake and then blew out the pretend candles.

I adore him.

We are leaving for the East Coast tomorrow to do some buying at the NYC gift show and then to spend some end of summer quality time with my family. I will be away for a while and I don’t have a ton of posts lined up for you while I am away, but I will definitely be reporting good finds on Parcel Post while I am there. Until then, have a great weekend!

post No.206 Camping Circa 1960s pt.2

Last year I wrote this post when Old School Stationers came out with the camping circa 1960’s summertime cards. This year they launched a few new styles, that I love just as much. The first one of the little family camping together is getting me through the week! Every time I feel bogged down with work I take a peek at it to get re-motivated. We leave Friday to NYC for a few days for the Gift Show then off to the woods for a little family vacation by this old school theme park. My little one is going to love it! They are all the same rides that we used to go on as kids. Looking forward to doing a photo shoot there.- I will definitely share a few pics when we get back.
