Post No.735 Show Pony Feature

Well it’s the end of another eventful week around here and I wanted to share some fun news. We’re thrilled to be featured in Show Pony magazine this month! Joshua and I answered some interview questions on things like our inspiration when opening the shop, the balance of managing children with a business and how we stay a part of our community. The magazine’s tag line is “inspiration for the Creative Entrepreneur” and is all about just that! If you have creative dreams you should definitely check out this magazine. It’s packed with great stories, articles, interviews and photos of people and their small businesses that have taken the plunge.  Our interview is right here on page 92.  A special thanks to Rebecca and the whole crew over there at Show Pony.  We’re honored to be part of this issue.

happy weekend all!

Our Bridal lounge is featured on the Wiley Valentine Blog today! In case you didn’t know we had one, this is the little parlor in the back of the shop  where we sit down to meet with our brides and grooms to look at invitation options.  A ton of creativity takes place in this little room. Definitely one of my favorite parts of this job.  click here to read all about it.

A big thanks again to Rachelle for featuring us on her awesome blog!

post No.428 “A Day at Urbanic” on WV

Have you ever wondered what an entire day consists of here at Urbanic?  You can find out right here on the Wiley Valentine Blog.

Wiley Valentine was one of the very first companies I started working with when I opened Urbanic.  Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to become close with the W.V girls.  They have brought (and continue to bring) sunshine to many of my days.  When Rachelle asked me to do a guest post for her maternity leave, I was delighted at the opportunity to contribute to their amazing blog!

*A big and special congrats to Rachelle, Michael and baby Piper!*

I was so honored to be featured on the Smock website as a store spotlight!  I love this line completely and am inspired daily by their great design, so it was a real treat to be mentioned and interviewed for their blog. I even got to answer some challenging questions such as …  If you were invited to the White House for dinner, what would you wear?” and  “what are you favorite trends in paper and stationery and your predictions for upcoming trends”.

You can read the full post right here!

A very special thanks to Smock and  Cyd Converse for the nice words!

post No.112 Brides Magazine

I recently had a blast hanging out with Heather Lee at the shop when she was in town visiting from NYC. Heather is one of the editors over at Brides magazine and she interviewed me about the latest in wedding invitation trends.  I loved how the article came out and realized what a great bridal resource this magazine is.  There are local issues for 17 different cities.

post No.106 I ♥ Los Angeles Magazine

They recently featured Urbanic as “City’s Best” for stationery.

This is our second write up by them and this time they included this big, fabulous, glossy shot of the store.

Not sure why they used my maiden name, but I love what they wrote (especially the part about our shop making you want to be polite)

Thank You LA Mag!
